Meet Emilie
Hi, I'm Emilie, owner and stylist at Salon31.
I've dreamed of doing hair for as long as I can remember, and I feel incredibly grateful to turn that childhood dream into a career I love every day.
Creating beautiful hair is important to me, but what truly fills my heart is creating a space where every guest feels welcomed, valued, and completely comfortable being themselves.
My faith and relationship with Christ are at the center of my life and influence how I serve others each day. I strive to lead with kindness, grace, and authenticity, and my hope is that every person who walks through our doors feels genuinely cared for and loved.
I believe the salon should be more than just a place to get your hair done. It should be a place where you can relax, feel encouraged, and leave feeling confident and refreshed. My goal is to provide a nonjudgmental environment where everyone feels seen, valued, and at home.
When I'm not behind the chair, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband, my high school sweetheart, and our three sports-loving boys. We stay busy cheering from the sidelines, enjoying family adventures, and making memories together. I love beach trips, boat days, discovering great food.
Salon31 was built from a dream and a desire to create something bigger than a salon.
A place where beauty, connection, community, and genuine hospitality come together. I'm honored to do what I love while building meaningful relationships with the people who sit in my chair.

Meet Abby
Hi, my name is Abby! I have been a hairstylist for 5 years. I am happily married and have 3 beautiful children. When I am not doing blondes, lived-in brunettes, or extensions, you will usually catch me outside playing with my kiddos!
My goal is for every client who sits in my chair to feel comfortable, heard, and excited about their hair.
I'm thankful to be part of Salon 31 and I can't wait to have you in my chair!

The Story Behind Salon31
Salon31 is much more than a name, it's a tribute to someone who helped shape who I am.
The name Salon31 was inspired by my mother and the woman described in Proverbs 31, often referred to as the virtuous woman. My mom embodied so many of those qualities: strength, kindness, faith, grace, and a heart for serving others.
She was one of my biggest supporters and always believed in me, even long before Salon31 was ever a reality.
In 2010, I lost my mother unexpectedly when I was just 20 years old. While her passing left an immeasurable void in my life, her love, wisdom, and guidance continue to influence me every day. Many of the values that define Salon31 — welcoming others, leading with compassion, serving with excellence, and creating meaningful connections — are rooted in what she taught me.
When the time came to open my own salon, I knew I wanted the name to honor her legacy and the faith that was so important to her. Salon31 stands as a reminder of where I've come from, the people who believed in me, and the dream that has come full circle.
Every guest who walks through our doors becomes part of that story, and it is my hope that Salon31 feels like a place where you are welcomed, cared for, and valued. Just as my mother would have wanted.
